ABOUT

Inspired by a typical residential town in Singapore, Asterwale features a wide array of amenities with high transport connectivity. The town is bordered by Asterwale Coast by the north, Asterwale Central by the south, Jalan Bukit Kecil by the east and Asterwale Canal Link by the west.

Asterwale also serves as a training district for RMRT, where many of the group's employees are trained with the relevant skills required of excellent figures in the online gaming platform's bus industry.

HISTORY

Asterwale was originally mooted as a major headquarters complex for RMRT — then known as the Asterwale Campus — but the district was underdeveloped. Past infrastructures only include a small bus depot and bus terminal was connected by a singular road (all of which followed the namesake of St. Andrew's). After a major closure which lasted for years, the district was repurposed and expanded into the residential and training town that is opened to this day.

Asterwale Bus Interchange

A bus transfer station situated within the Asterwale Town Centre, connecting residential areas in the northern and central residential districts.

TRANSPORT

Bus

The town is primarily connected by a well-refined bus network, serving areas like Asterwale North and Bukit Kecil. Majority of the bus services serve Asterwale Bus Interchange which is located at Asterwale Central and adjacent to Asterwale Square. Originating from Asterwale Square, free shuttle services are also provided to connect shoppers to and from the town's retail park.
